YOU should be eating "five-a-day" fruit and veg.

Do you really think that's enough?

How can they contain all the minerals your body needs if they are NOT in the soil?

Did you know that even eating a balanced 5-a-day organic diet, you would be lucky to get more than 15 plant minerals?

The absolute bes minerals for your body are 'plant derived'; don't even think about using metallic minerals.

Metallic minerals are the cheap ineffective type you find in most

shops.  You are basically eating ground up rock and clay instead of the plant derived minerals your body actually needs.

Have you ever tried eating rocks?

These are just crushed rocks and clay that are modified to try to fool the body into thinking it is food.  This is NOT food and only 20% is absorbed by the body.

The plants root system finds the metallic minerals and digests them modifying them into food state plant minerals as nature intended- this IS food and is 100% absorbed by the body.

Mineral Requirements in Animals and Humans

“Millions of years ago the soil near the earth’s surface, where our plants are grown, was saturated with dozens of minerals.

At least 84 minerals were available nearly everywhere and some areas of the planet did contain 100 minerals.

The plants of prehistoric times were rich in minerals because there was an abundant supply for them to feed upon from the soil. When a plant grows it draws available minerals from the soil.

An Apple a Day keeps the Doctor away

Many of the older viewers will remember the above saying – but – how relevant is it today?

You may or may not have heard the expression “an apple a day keeps the Doctor away” – well back in 1950 one single apple still had sufficient minerals in them to back up that saying because you really were getting your daily dose of minerals from just that ONE apple.

Now role forward to 1998 and you will see that to get the SAME benefit from apples that we did way back in 1950 you actually need to consume “25” – yes “25” apples to obtain equal benefits that you used to get from just ONE

The question is “How may apples would you need to eat TODAY to give you sufficient minerals for your immune system to ‘keep the doctor away’ I wonder”?

What has caused this drastic change you may ask !

We now know the mineral content of plants has been severely altered throughout the last several million years and drastically altered during the last 100 years.

"When man began to till the soil, wind and rain erosion began to take its toll along with continuous cropping which gradually caused the soils to lack minerals. In fact, this can result in ‘dead fields’ where NOTHING will grow, farmers then need to scatter fertilizer (minerals) on the soil.

Mineral depletion also compromises a plant’s immune system so it has weakened defences. This results in the need for carcinogenic pesticides.

“What a sad state of affairs we have gotten ourselves into".

"According to research in the animal husbandry field and The National Science Foundation, animals require at least 45 minerals, 12 essential amino acids, 16 vitamins, and 3 essential fatty acids.

According to Gary Price Todd, M.D., the human body requires at least 60 minerals for optimal health and basically the same other essentials as animals.

Only 8 minerals are available in any kind of quantity

in most of the food we eat today.

We know plants can make vitamins, amino acids and varying amounts of fatty acids, if they are

healthy from being grown in soils containing abundant minerals.

If the soil lacks minerals, the plant is stunted because a plant cannot make minerals."

All over the world now our soils are mineral deficient

because of the extended use of fertilizers

and “maximum yield” mass farming methods.
